What sets an orthodontist apart from other dentists? To be recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists, AAO hopefuls must successfully complete an accredited residency program after dental school.
To receive his membership, Dr. Grahl had to complete extra years of training to specialize in moving teeth, bite correction, and improving facial esthetics. Our Las Vegas patients can rest assured that they are in the good hands of an AAO specialist like Dr. Grahl.
During his time as a general dentist, he completed numerous hours of continuing education to stay ahead of the curve in dentistry and orthodontics. As a Fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Grahl sets himself apart as one of the top orthodontists in the nation.
In fact, only 6% of dentists have achieved the AGD Fellowship.
An AGD Fellowship is awarded to AGD members who excel in their continuing education. To achieve this award, Dr. Grahl had to complete 500+ hours of continuing education courses, pass a comprehensive written exam, and maintain his membership for at least three continuous years.
During his time as a general dentist, he completed numerous hours understanding how to transform smiles with implants. Studying to become an Affiliate Associate Fellow requires the dedication to continue mastering surgical skills that make a dentist effective at replacing teeth.
To achieve his Fellowship, Dr. Grahl completed an extra 300 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry and passed comprehensive exams demonstrating his knowledge.
This commitment to excellence proves that Dr. Grahl understands the needs for dental implants and can work effectively with the patients referring dental care provider to ensure proper space is created for tooth replacement.
Dr. Grahl is married to his high school sweetheart Rachael and has two young children, BriarRose and Kent James.
Aside from being a dedicated and supportive husband and father, Dr. Grahl enjoys everything that improves his mental and physical well-being. This includes strength training, nutrition, competitive sports, reading, and being a mini-coach to his children.
